JAARVERSLAG SMART 2022 

Onderstaande activiteiten werden verricht overeenkomstig de statutaire richtlijnen van SMART.

1. Vergadering Bestuur SMART

De jaarlijkse bestuursvergadering vond plaats in november 2022. Daarnaast was er overleg betreffende lopende zaken per email.

2. Financieel ondersteunde activiteiten in 2022

2.1. Department of Primary Health Care, University of Rwanda

Financiele steun werd verleend aan deze universiteitsafdeling, met specifieke aandacht voor het opzetten en starten van een module medische antropologie binnen het onderwijs aan medisch studenten.

2.2. Implementatie sociotherapie voor studenten University of Rwanda

Een start werd gemaakt in 2022 met het trainer van groepsbegeleiders. Kosten van deze training worden vergoed in 2023.

2.3. Deelname Symposium ‘Restorative Justice over Distance’ (Sassari Italië, June 2022)

Kosten deelname aan dit symposium, georganiseerd door de European Forum for Restorative Justice, werden vergoed.

2.4. Financiering kosten MA studie

Financiële steun werd verleend aan een vrijwilligster (programma assistente) van de vredeschool in Bukavu, DRC, voor de afronding van haar MA studie in Kameroen (zie jaarverslag 2021).

2.5. Vrouwen tegen Uitzetting
Een jaarlijkse donatie werd verstrekt aan de ANBI Stichting Vrouwen tegen Uitzetting.

2.6. Ondersteuning van de NGO Community Based Sociotherapy Rwanda

Subsidie werd verleend voor bezoeken van een SMART bestuurslid aan deze NGO ten behoeve van het bijdragen aan onderzoeksactiviteiten en de door CBS Rwanda georganiseerde internationale conferentie .

2.7. Training stafleden twee Ngo’s Democratische Republiek Congo (DRC)

Voorfinanciering werd verleend voor onkosten trainer van twee workshops kwalitatieve onderzoeksmethoden onderzoek naar intergenerationele overdracht van trauma en geweld. Terugbetaling in 2023.

2.8. Peace School Bukavu, Democratische Republiek Congo (DRC)

Een lening werd verstrekt aan deze, eerder door SMART financieel ondersteunde, Peace School. Terugbetaling in 2023.
